Collecting the Dust of Keepsakes

“In 2004, my parents so graciously gave me my first digital camera (a Nikon D70.) This, in turn, led to a deep interest in Adobe Photoshop.

“No longer confined to the cost and length of time it took to develop a roll of 35mm film, I was photographing anything and everything non-stop. Still learning what direction my eye would take my camera, and with it always in hand, I set out into adulthood with a vision I was excited to develop.”

“This period of my life defined the next decade of my trajectory. Some of my most youthful creativity are displayed within these few images. I look back on them fondly, realizing now that they stood as the motivation for me to live up to myself for years after.”

“This collection of images were all captured using a DSLR and then refined in Photoshop, or drawn by hand on a Macintosh laptop with a Wacom tablet.”
